The autumn iteration of the Art of Asia exhibition in the Kinský Palace, held in collaboration with the National Gallery Prague. The focus was set on the connection between the fine arts and musical motifs. Different musical systems for recording Japanese music and compositions by Milan Grygar and John Cage blur the lines between the fine arts, free work and music. The Zen-oriented exhibition in the room dedicated to Japanese painting and prints also displayed the expressive calligraphy “Stone” by Tankyū Sano, which evokes the minimalist, but highly inspirational and contextual, setting of a Zen stone garden.
